Police are trying to trace a suspect who reportedly robbed a man at knife-point in Maidstone's Mote Park.

The 27-year-old victim told officers he was forced to hand over £40 in the incident, which happened between midnight and 12.30am last Saturday.

He reported that he was watching the stars near a footbridge that crosses the lake when a man approached him and pulled out a knife.

Police have released an e-fit of the suspect

After handing over the money, the robber ran away into the trees.

Officers have now released a computer-generated image of the suspect, who was wearing a grey hooded top, grey tracksuit bottoms and dirty white Adidas trainers.
