KENT Police have released an e-fit and are re-appealing for information about an assault on a woman in an alleyway.

The incident happened off Postley Road, Maidstone, at around 3am on Thursday, January 8.

Maidstone and Malling Police spokeswoman Gianna Pollero said: "The woman was walking down the alley when she was approached by a man in a vehicle who got out his car, threatened her and then tried to grab her.

"When the victim stumbled backwards to get away, the offender got back into his car and drove off. The woman was not injured during the incident."
