Armed robbery in Larkfield

An armed gang of four threatened staff at a newsagents' during a robbery early this morning.

The four, who were wearing balaclavas, burst into Martin's newsagents in Martin's Square in Larkfield at just before 5am, brandishing weapons.

The gang, who are thought to be men, stole cash and cigarettes. A black vehicle was later seen in the area, but it's not known if they're connected.

It’s not currently known how much money was taken or the exact weapons used in the robbery. No-one was injured during the incident.
