A pair of suspected drug dealers have been arrested after officers found a bag full of heroin in a hedge.

At around 4.45pm yesterday, police were on patrol in an unmarked car when they saw two men in a Land Rover parked in Baker Lane, Headcorn.

They stopped the vehicle as it started to move off and the passenger immediately got out.

Suspecting the two men were involved in drug dealing, the passenger was searched and a mobile phone seized.

Another officer checked a hedgerow next to where the passenger had got out of the vehicle and a plastic bag was recovered.
