Arrests following burglaries in Birling Park Avenue, Tunbridge Wells, Week Street in Maidstone and Canon Lane in Wateringbury

Four arrests have been made this week following burglaries in west Kent.

In Maidstone, a man was arrested in Week Street for an offence reported to have taken place on Wednesday.

Wesley Howe, 36, of Kenward Road, Yalding, was charged with going equipped to burgle and has been bailed to appear at court on Friday, June 27.

A man has been arrested after several burglaries in Canterbury

Two youths have been arrested in connection with a burglary in Tunbridge Wells.

Bikes, jewellery and an iPad were among items reported to have been stolen following a break-in at Birling Park Avenue on Wednesday, May 7.

Two 17-year-old males were arrested yesterday on suspicion of burglary and remain in police custody.

A 26-year-old man was detained on suspicion of a breaking into a property in Canon Lane, Wateringbury on Bank Holiday Monday.

The suspect was bailed, pending further enquiries, until Wednesday, June 11.
