Kent Fire and Rescue Service and police called to vehicle fire in Crismill Lane, Bearsted

Investigations into a suspected arson are ongoing after a car was seriously damaged in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Two fire engines were called to Crismill Lane, Bearsted, at 1.40am following reports of a Ford Ka alight on a driveway. They left at 2.09am.

The vehicle was reported to have been 95% damaged.

Police were also in attendance and are investigating the incident.

The fire followed another suspicious blaze in Park Wood earlier this week.
