Maidstone man charged with grievous bodily harm after West Malling assault left man with fractured eye socket

A man has been charged by police after a violent assault in West Malling.

Police investigating an incident in Ewell Avenue, which left a man with a fractured eye socket, have charged 35-year-old Stephen Fraser.

The Fairmeadow, Maidstone resident was charged yesterday with grievous bodily harm, breaching a restraining order and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Ewell Avenue in West Malling (7520022)

He appeared before Medway Magistrates Court today and was remanded in custody.

The alleged incident took place on February 22.

Mr Fraser will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on March 29.
