Attempted murder arrest made after armed police called to Arnold Farm in Langley, Maidstone

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a serious assault at a farm.

Armed police, paramedics and an air ambulance were called to Back Street in Langley, near Maidstone, at around 11.10pm to a report that a man had been stabbed.

A police spokesman said: “Officers supported by armed patrols attended the scene and arrested a 33-year-old woman who remains in custody.

“The victim, who is also in his 30s, was taken to a London hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

“Both parties are known to one another and officers are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.”

It is believed emergency crews stayed at the scene until the early hours of this morning (Monday, June 5).
