A Belgian restaurant owner says business has suffered during the World Cup because of rowdy England fans on the streets.

Videos of fans swamping Maidstone town centre after victories earlier in the tournament have been shared far and wide online, as have celebrations in local pubs and bars.

However, Cafe Bruges Bistro owner Craig Reade has no plans to do anything special for Belgium's semi-final with France this evening, having already suffered disruption from supporters earlier in the tournament.

"We're not a pub, we're a restaurant, and for me personally I don't want anything to do with it because of the trouble," he said.

"After Belgium beat England the other week we had beer cans being thrown everywhere and people shouting and swearing. It wasn't nice, and it's had a massive impact on business.

"My regulars are not going into town because people are just here to watch the football and they don't want to walk past it all."

The winner of tonight's clash will face the winner of England's crunch tie with Croatia in the final on Sunday in Moscow.
