A biker was seen lying in the road following a crash on a dual carriageway.

It happened on the A249 at at the top of Detling Hill and is understood to involve a car and a motorbike.

Police were called to the scene, near the Shell petrol station, and closed off one lane of the Sittingbourne-bound carriageway.

The crash happened at around 7.30pm and witnesses said they saw what appeared to be the biker lying in the road.
