A biker has been taken to hospital after a crash with a car.

Police were called to the accident at about 6.10am on Castle Way, Leybourne.

Officers were joined by a crew from the South East Coast Ambulance Service and the motorcyclist was treated for his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.

The man was taken to a local hospital for further medical attention.

Traffic was queuing on the A228 back towards Snodland after the road was closed. It reopened at 8am.
