Boy, 13, arrested in connection with burglaries

A 13-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a spate of burglaries.

Police earlier released an image of two individuals they wanted to speak to after three reported burglaries in the Downswood area of Maidstone this week.

Cash, jewellery and games consoles were among the items allegedly taken.

Police were called to Foxden Drive twice on Friday, February 9, and to another house in the same area the following day.

Officers also received reports of a burglary in Horton Downs on Wednesday.

The force says the investigation remains ongoing.
