Boy punched by muggers

A teenage boy was left with cuts and bruises after being mugged for his wallet and mobile phone.

The 16-year-old was walking home along Upper Road, Maidstone, when he was attacked by two older boys.

The attackers punched him repeatedly and then stole his mobile phone and wallet.

One of the boys was white, aged between 15 and 19, around 6ft, of medium build and wearing a dark coloured hoodie and a pale baseball cap.

The other was also white and around the same age and wearing a pale grey hoodie.

Anyone with information about the incident, which happened at around 4.30pm on Friday, December 5, is asked to contact Maidstone Crime Unit on 01622 690055 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
