POLICE are appealing for information after the theft of CDs from a car parked in Buckland Road near Maidstone town centre.

Sometime in the early hours of Thursday, February 22, thieves smashed a side window of the car, a silver Ford Escort.

More than 40 CDs were taken, each printed with a Braille label, which were used by the driver’s husband. An electrical tape adapter was also taken.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Maidstone Police Station on 01622 604180 or call Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 – this call is free and confidential.
