A broken down vehicle is causing delays heading out of a town centre.

One lane was closed on Upper Stone Street Maidstone, for around 10 minutes due to the lorry.

The incident caused delays backing up to the one way system in town.

The closure was reported at around 2.50pm.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and avoid the route if possible.
