Broken down lorry in St Peter's Street causes delays in Maidstone town centre

Drivers were warned to expect delays this morning after a lorry broken down on a busy road.

Motorists faced queues heading in and out of Maidstone town centre because of the stationary truck in St Peter's Street.

Tailbacks were reported in Mill Street, Fairmeadow and Buckland Hill.
