BT cable stolen

Six men have been arrested on suspicion of theft after 100 metres of cable were stolen last night (Monday).

The arrested men, aged 17, 18, 19, 27, 31 and 42, are currently in custody at Maidstone police station.

The cable was taken from Maidstone Road in Nettlestead at around 11pm.

Shortly afterwards officers followed a vehicle towards the Wrotham area and arrested the four occupants.

Two other men were later arrested in Nettlestead.
