Bus passengers faced delays following a crash in Maidstone High Street this afternoon.

The collision, between a Dover-bound National Express Coach and an 85 Arriva bus, happened at about 12.30pm.

No one was injured in the accident at a bus stop outside Zee and Co clothes store and the vehicles sustained only minor damage.

Police were called to supervise traffic at the scene.

The accident was cleared by 12.45pm and vehicles continued their journey.
