Bus passenger punched in face

A teenager is recovering after he was punched in the face on a bus.

The 19-year-old was assaulted on the number 82 bus in Maidstone on Monday.

He suffered facial injuries and mild concussion.

He got on the bus, which travels between the Mall Chequers and Park Wood, with two female friends at around 4pm.

As they sat, he was approached by another teenager who was abusive and then punched the victim several times.

The offender is described as white, around 16 years old, with collar length brown hair. He was wearing a baseball cap and a grey and white hooded jacket.
