Arriva Southern Counties said that most of its bus services in the Maidstone area are running today, although some are subject to delays.

Services 8, 17, 59, 155 and 703 are not running. Service 12 is unable to serve Skinners Way at Langley Heath so is running along the main road instead. Service 58 is running only as far as West Malling and is unable to serve East Malling, Addington, Ryarsh, Birling or Trottiscliffe.

Service 72 is unable to serve Clare Park, running along London Road instead. Service 82 is running to Park Wood Parade only, and is unable to serve the Highcroft Green loop. Service 89 is running to Coxheath but is unable to serve East Farleigh or Marden. Services 64 and 81 are not running due to school closures.

Police have issued a warning to snowballers - have fun but be sensible. A spokesman said: "During the snowy weather, many people have been taking advantage of the opportunity to have some fun with the snow. However, snowball fights can escalate to the point of anti-social behaviour - prompting calls to the police."

He said: "The rules are: no stones, no ice, no traffic, no damage to property and no bullying."

Anti-social behaviour can be reported to Maidstone Police on 01622 690690.
