There were more traffic issues in Maidstone this morning when a vehicle collided with the central reservation on a busy road.

Emergency services were called at 6.51am, after a silver Audi hit the part of the road on the A229, Maidstone bound.

One man was treated for minor injuries to his back and arm by paramedics at the scene.

The patient was then taken to the Medway Maritime Hospital.

It was the only car involved and no other injuries were reported - the cause of the accident is unknown.
