Maidstone: Peugeot crashes into BMW at junction of Sutton Road and Armstrong Road, Maidstone

Two cars were involved in an incident at a busy junction in Maidstone.

The smash between a silver Peugeot and white BMW happened at about 8.30pm on Tuesday.

The driver of the silver Peugeot reportedly suffered leg injuries.

Emergency services including police and ambulance crews were called to the scene.

Charlotte Sheppard, a 24-year-old resident of nearby Loose Road, was also involved in the incident.

Her white 3 Series collided with the Peugeot, and Miss Sheppard was treated in hospital for injuries sustained.

Her heart scans were irregular following the crash, and she was put in a neck brace to be transported to hospital.

The car has been written off by the accident, but her injuries were not serious.

Miss Sheppard has now been discharged from hospital and is recovering at home.
