A car has mounted the pavement and crashed into a front garden in Allington.

The accident happened at around 8.45pm on Friday night. A car collided with a garden fence in London Road, near the junction with Castle Road, just past the BP garage.

It was travelling towards Aylesford. The male driver stopped and left his details with the homeowner at the time.

On Saturday morning police officers placed tape at the scene, pending the vehicle being recovered.

The black Fiat Punto was badly damaged to the front and left-hand side. It crashed through a wooden post at the side of the road and destroyed the garden fence.
