Hunt for driver of car with 'bullet holes' on windscreen seen driving erratically in Maidstone

An investigation has been launched after a car with "bullet holes" on the windscreen was spotted causing chaos on the roads.

Witnesses reported seeing the vehicle running through a red light and recklessly overtaking other cars in Parkwood in Maidstone last night.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 6pm on Monday regarding a car with a damaged windscreen driving erratically along Sutton Road towards Langley.

"Patrols attended but the vehicle had left the area prior to their arrival.

"Inquiries are ongoing to locate the vehicle and its driver."
