Police have arrested a man after a clubber was permanently scarred in an assault at a popular Maidstone nightspot.

The victim, a man aged in his thirties, was on the dance floor at Bierkeller, in Bank Street, when he was reported to have been hit in the face three times with a plastic cup.

The attack is alleged to have happened at 11.30pm on Thursday, April 13 and has left the man with a permanent scar to the top of his left eye.
