The Hop Farm Music Festival has revealed the final acts completing this year’s eclectic line-up.

Funny man Russell Kane is topping Sunday’s comedy bill and Nerina Pallot and Noisettes will complete the music line-up for the festival, which takes place in Paddock Wood in July.

Hop Farm Music Festival’s Neil Butkeraitis said: “This is our first year in charge of the Hop Farm Music Festival, and, having started with a clean slate, we couldn’t be happier with our inaugural line-up.

Russell Kane

"We’ve got three bona-fide legends headlining and fantastic music both familiar and new all weekend, plus killer comedy and brilliant activities right across the farm. So, I think it’s safe to say, for all round entertainment, this year’s festival is breaking new ground for Hop Farm”.

Host of BBC Three’s Live at the Electric and multi-award winner, Russell Kane will join fellow comedy headliners Jo Brand and Rich Hall to top the bill on Sunday evening.

With a glittering career that includes winning both the Best New Comer and the top Edinburgh Comedy Awards prize at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Russell Kane is now a familiar face on TV, hosting several shows on BBC Three.

Completing 2014's Hop Farm music line-up are Ivor Novello and BRIT nominated Nerina Pallot, whose Everybody’s Gone To War single brought her to the attention of the masses in the mid-noughties.

Grace Jones

Also on the bill will be indie-rock duo Noisettes.

Both acts join a litany of performers that include headline sets from former Kinks frontman Ray Davies and his band, and exclusive performances from co-founder of the Beach Boys, Brian Wilson and Grace Jones.

There will also be live music spread across two stages from Echo & the Bunnymen, James Blunt, Deacon Blue, Dr John, Squeeze, Bellowhead, Nick Lowe, Maximo Park, Peter Hook & The Light, Curtis Stigers, Courtney Pine.

The festival will be held at the Hop Farm Family Park, near Paddock Wood, from Friday, July 4 to Sunday, July 6. Adult day tickets from £68. Call 0845 0756101.
