Commuters faced difficult journeys into work this morning with major disruption and cancellations on the rail network.

Southeastern warned trains were running up to 50 minutes late between Ramsgate and Charing Cross as well as Blackfriars and Sevenoaks.

Some services were cancelled or diverted during the morning rush-hour.
