Motorists suffered rush-hour delays following a two-car crash on the M20.

It happened on the M20 London-bound between near junction 4 for Maidstone at around 7.30am.

All traffic was initially held while police and paramedics dealt with the aftermath of the crash.

It led to five-mile tailbacks and delays of around 30 minutes.

Highways officials confirmed all lanes reopened at around 7.50am.
