Daylight robbery on forecourt

A man was asked to stand and deliver by a robber at a forecourt in Larkfield.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident at the Tesco Express service station in London Road on Friday.

When the victim returned to his car, a man he knew was standing next to his vehicle. He was then threatened and handed over his wallet to the offender who took out a quantity of cash before demanding he drive him to a location nearby.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late twenties, with black hair, wearing a black hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms with white trainers.

Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact Kent Police on 101 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting crime reference YY/12077/12.
