Three cars have been involved in a collision on the A228 near Mereworth.

The accident happened on Saturday morning, about 9.30am, on the Malling Road.

Kent Police closed a lane while dealing with the incident. No-one was injured, but as a precaution, the fire service was also at the scene.

At one stage traffic was queuing back towards Kings Hill. The road was fully re-opened at 10.20am.
