A designer clothes shop has ceased trading after 20 years in Maidstone High Street.

Today workers have been seen clearing out Zee & Co, which shut its doors for good on Wednesday, August 16.

A message to loyal customers said: "The staff here in Maidstone would like to thank you for your custom and friendship over the last 20 years."

Founded in 1984 as a men's retailer, the company now stocks designer fashion for women and children from brands such as Stone Island, Hugo Boss, Polo Ralph Lauren and Barbour.

Other branches in Loughton, Ilford, Roman Road and Islington remain open, together with the company's online website.
