Detling Hill was closed after a car was abandoned in a live lane.

The Sittingbourne bound carriageway of the major route was shut at around 2.30pm after the vehicle was left between junction 7 of the M20 and the Detling Showground.

Kent Police attended and a recovery agent moved the vehicle to a nearby layby.

The route is now open but some delays are still being experienced.
