A cyclist has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car near Detling Hill.

The incident on Pilgrims Way has closed one lane of the A249 Southbound near the turn off for Detling causing delays coming into Maidstone.

Emergency services attended the scene just after 8.30am and the cyclist's injuries are thought to be minor.
