Dirty restaurant fined £13,638

A chinese restaurant has been fined £13,638 after health inspectors made a gruesome discovery in the kitchen.

Health officers who visited Kings Hill Palace, in Liberty Square, found food equipment, uncovered food, a chopping block which had been used to prepare both both raw meat and cooked battered chicken, and cooked seaweed stored in a cardboard box which had been used to contain raw frozen chicken.

The general state of the whole building was deemed unhygienic.

Toto Experience Ltd, owners of the shamed restaurant, appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates Court today, where they were slapped with the hefty fine.

The chairman of the bench told the representatives that the state of the eatery was disgraceful and ordered them to make improvements.
