Disturbance outside Kamz barber shop in Bank Street, Maidstone

Four men have been arrested after a disturbance which saw police descend on a street.

At least six officers were called to the ruccus this afternoon outside Kamz Barber Shop in Maidstone.

Officers have been seen speaking to at least four men, two of which were inside the hairdressers.

During the altercation witnesses reported seeing a man fall over a sign which stands upright on the pavement.

They also looked on as one man could be heard shouting 'He has a saw' as officers arrived.

A police spokesman confirmed four men have been arrested on suspicion of affray.

Two of the men were later bailed to return to the police station on December 21, and a third was bailed to December 22. A fourth man remains in police custody while enquiries continue.
