Driver taken to Tunbridge Wells hospital after being cut free from collision on Pembury Road junction with Sandrock Road

A casualty was taken to Tunbridge Wells hospital this morning following a collision between a lorry and a Skoda.

Firefighters had to use specialist cutting equipment to free the driver of the car before he was assessed on the scene by paramedics.

It is not believed anyone involved suffered a serious injury.

The incident happened shortly after 9am at the junction of Pembury Road and Sandrock Road, in Tunbridge Wells.

The road was closed by police at 9.35am and reopened at 10.30am.
