Assault leaves man unconscious in Maidstone High Street

A man in his 40s is in hospital after he was found lying unconscious in a town centre.

Police were called out Maidstone High Street at around 6.15am after the man was found by a passer-by.

He was taken hospital and told officers he had been assaulted.

Officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.

Enquiries are ongoing to understand exactly what happened.
