Police have arrested eight men in connection with allegations of rape at a house in Maidstone.

Officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are investigating offences reported to have taken place against a woman.

The suspects were arrested yesterday and have since all been bailed, with conditions, pending further enquiries.

Police say they are treating the alleged attack as an isolated incident.

Forensic officers are continuing to carry out an investigation.
