An elderly couple's house was badly damaged by fire in the early hours of Sunday, November 8.

Fire crews were called to Brook Street, Tonbridge, at 3.40am. The first floor of the house was alight.

Firefighters did not have to rescue the couple. The fire was out by 7.20am.
