An elderly man was taken to hospital after collapsing in a pub in Maidstone today.

The 90-year-old man was taken ill in the Brenchley pub off Jubilee Square just after 1pm.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics, and was then taken to Maidstone Hospital for further checks.
