Organisers of The Social have released hundreds of extra tickets.

The team behind the music festival, taking place in Mote Park, Maidstone, tomorrow, have announced plans to increase capacity.

Five-hundred tickets will be available on the door and another 250 can be purchased from www.residentadvisor.net.

The event, aimed at clubbers aged over 18, is the first day of a weekend festival organised by international DJ Nic Fanciulli, from West Malling.

On Sunday, artists such as the Brand New Heavies and Sister Sledge, will entertain crowds at The Family Social.

About 5,000 tickets were issued for each day but demand grew for tomorrow's gig after it quickly sold out.

To help ease traffic and transport issues, Southeastern has agreed to introduce a later service to London. The last train will be at 11.30pm, instead of the normal 10.48pm route.
