East Farleigh: Fire crews remove windscreen to free woman trapped in car on side

Firefighters had to remove a windscreen to help free a woman from her car which had rolled onto its side.

Dean Street, between East Farleigh and Tovil, was sealed off by police at around 6.40pm yesterday.

Crews took out the windscreen and released the woman, believed to be in her 60s, before giving her oxygen.

A dog that was also in the car at the time of the accident was handed over to police while the woman was treated by medics.

The road was reopened shortly after 7.15pm.
