Four crews have been fighting a fire in the roof of a house in Boughton Malherbe near Maidstone this morning.

The blaze started in the roof of the property in Church Road at around 8am.

Firefighters wore breathing apparatus to tackle the fire using hose reel jets and extinguished the blaze by around 10.30am.
