Fire crews were called to a blaze in three small outbuildings in Lock Lane, Sandling

Firefighters tackled a blaze at the farming attraction Kent Life.

Crews in two fire engines were called to the open air museum in Lock Lane, Sandling at 8.10am.

They used hose reels to extinguish the fire, which started in three small outbuildings used for food storage and machinery.

But 9am it had been reduced to a small amount of hay and straw bales.

The sheds, two of which were destroyed, were used for keeping feed in and are not near any of the historic buildings on the site, or any of the animals.
