Firefighters were called after a blaze started in a large pile of fly-tipped waste.

Crews went to Brishing Lane, near Boughton Monchelsea shortly before 9.30am today.

Two fire engines were needed, as well as an all terrain vehicle, and crews used a shuttle to get extra water from a nearby hydrant.
