A fuel spillage has caused long delays on Detling Hill this morning.

The flammable liquid has leaked onto the Maidstone-bound carriageway of the A249, between the slip road for Detling and the roundabout at Junction 7 of the M20.

The spillage was caused by a crash between a car and a lorry.

Motorists are warned to expect long delays.

Police and Kent Highways are at the scene.
