Girl, 13, loses two front teeth in crash with cyclist in Maidstone

A 13-year-old girl has lost her two front teeth when she was hit by a cyclist.

The youngster was walking in Gabriels Hill, Maidstone, when she was struck at about 5.30pm on Tuesday.

The teen, who is from the West Midlands but staying in Tovil, suffered facial injuries.

Kent Police want to speak to anyone who saw the crash.

PC Tom Renshaw said: "We have already spoken to the girl and several other people who were in the area at the time and are keeping an open mind as to the exact circumstances.

"We would encourage the rider to make contact with police, or if anyone can provide us with any further information then please get in touch with me by contacting Maidstone police station and quoting the incident number 06-1379."
