Shocking CCTV footage has emerged of the moment brazen thieves broke into an Allington charity shop, making off with a 'large sum' of money from the safe.

The burglary happened at the Barnardo's store at Mid Kent Shopping Centre in Castle Road just after 11.50pm on Saturday.

The video shows two people forcing their way into the charity shop through a rear service door.
