A homeless man has been found dead in Maidstone.

Julian Boughton, 46, was found in his tent near the River Medway on Friday afternoon.

His next of kin have been informed.

Mr Boughton was a regular visitor to Maidstone Day Centre in Maidstone

Mr Boughton, also known as Jules, was a well-known figure in the town and had been a regular visitor to Maidstone Day Centre for at least eight years.
