Immigration officers descended on a home in Maidstone today and arrested a man for overstaying his visa.

The 26-year-old Russian was taken from an apartment in Bank Street this morning.

Home Office immigration enforcement staff, who arrived in two vans which they parked in nearby Mill Street, also seized cash from the building under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
